Believing in God: why? Tim Keller

This is so excellent I want to share it for the weekend. It is Pastor Tim Keller of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. It is about the reasons for believing in God. The question and answer part at the end is very interesting.

From the site: "Tim Keller visits Google's Mountain View, CA, headquarters to discuss his book, "The Reason for God." This event took place on March 5, 2008, as part of the Authors@Google series." There is some problem at first with short pauses. That will go away after a while.

Keller has a book called The Reason for God, that is an apologetic actually written for skeptics. (Most apologists talk about apologetic method with other apologists, it seems. Keller actually does it.) I would suggest it.

Yes, Kevin, Brad and I have the book I have read some of it my husband all of it. It is very good, and I like how he uses C.S. Lewis a lot. He actually uses some of the book in this talk. I agree, here is a unique apologists who engages with skeptics.

A study group in my church plant has read it together, and found it enormously helpful for evangelistic and apologetic purposes. We want to do it again, only this time with each member of the group inviting unchurched and non-Christian friends to join us.
