Dr. Russell More, President of Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission
of the Southern Baptist convention, this Sunday Morning, placed a link on Twitter
to Iris Dement singing “Our Town.” While
he may not have meant it the way I took it, and I love Dement’s singing, I find
all kinds of metaphors jumping out at me. The perfect song for the way I am
feeling—but Christ is that love that hangs on to us in faithfulness.
