A friend of friends is in jail for being a Christian

A friend of friends is in jail because he is a Christian. The Al Abrabiya News reports:

A Tehran court will next week put on trial an Iranian American Christian on charges that could carry the death penalty, his wife said Thursday, in a case that has raised concern among U.S. officials.

The article continues:

Saeed Abedini, a naturalized U.S. citizen who converted to Christianity, was arrested in September on a return visit to Iran and in a recent letter said he suffered beatings in prison, his wife and his U.S.-based lawyer said.
His wife said that the 32-year-old will face charges of harming national security starting Monday at a trial under Abbas Pir-Abassi, a revolutionary court judge who has been criticized overseas for harsh verdicts.
Here is a video with the letter being read:

Viola,
Thank you for posting this video. I read The Layman this morning to find a letter from Janet Edwards who is celebrating her sinful disobedience calling it "Standing for Love." She has made her "ministry" one to disobey God while Saeed has made his one to obey God first, even to being truly persecuted and jailed, because he understands that Jesus said Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Janet Edwards, in her empty-worded explanation said that she does neither of those things.
Our God is a God of love and He is also a God of Law, which is His. It's not open to "interpretation."
I wouldn't run a stop sign and tell the policeman that I interpret it as telling me to not stop. That's the equivalent of what she and others have done in our churches because they love themselves first and foremost and do not obey His law.

We need more Saeeds behind our pulpits.
