This of course cut into practice time!

At least she doesn't complain when I wear the kilt.

Bob CampbellPastor Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787179002120424157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7560220615271337359.post-16876183332279132862010-01-12T13:19:45.227-08:002010-01-12T13:19:45.227-08:00Wow, Molly looks like you, Viola!

Once I asked where Jim was, and our son said, "He's downstairs playing on that hooter thing." That became our pet name for it.

Debbie Berkley
Bellevue, WADebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01755638934636386391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7560220615271337359.post-81981272288961040612010-01-11T21:11:09.194-08:002010-01-11T21:11:09.194-08:00In my experience stopping the squeaking had more t...In my experience stopping the squeaking had more to do with the way you cover the particular holes than anything else. Some bagpipers put wax (beeswax traditionally) on their fingers to prevent air escaping around the edges of the holes and thus also preventing squeaking.Pastor Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787179002120424157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7560220615271337359.post-9171999468029441602010-01-11T16:26:46.590-08:002010-01-11T16:26:46.590-08:00Well I hope Ethan gets beyond the chanter. Chanters are much cheaper. They also don't make as much noise in the squeaking stage.

I know this because I have a chanter and haven't been able to get beyond squeaking.

Bob Campbell
Sharon Hill, PAPastor Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787179002120424157noreply@blogger.com
